The joy of dance begins with Pre-Ballet classes at Ormond Ballet Training Center. We introduce young children to the fundamentals of classical ballet and modern dance, focusing on proper body alignment, basic ballet and modern dance technique and terminology, as well as musicality. As part of the OB family, your young dancer will learn much more than technique. Exposure to dance reinforces important life skills like creativity, discipline, listening skills, respect and team dynamics and participation—all in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment.
Classes start at $80 per month
We are committed to providing the most value possible. This starts with our spacious training center all the way to our professionally selected teachers and our carefully curated classes. We offer a unique experience locally that sets the tone for leadership, curiosity, human development, and future success.

All Uniform items can be bought at Dance Depot, located at 2644 S Ridgewood Ave, South Daytona, FL 32119. Their phone number is (386) 760-4858. At Ormond Ballet, we take your investment in your student and our school very seriously, so we took the extra step to provide the information below in order to prepare you for your uniform purchase. We chose the most valuable and cost effective options, along with choosing microfiber fabric to ensure color stay. Dance Depot has all this information on file and all you need to do is let them know your student’s school, age, level, and size and they will be able to assist you.
Please Note: You will see that certain items can be bought at big box stores.
Please wear clothing over dance attire as we don’t want our students walking around outside in leotards and tights. We respect the human body and the youth/innocence of our dancers. We will not put our dancers, under the age of 18, in any costumes exposing their midsection without a nude fabric underneath or otherwise approved by parents/guardians.

Hair
Girls: Please have hair secured and off the face. If hair is short, please use a simple headband, bobby pin/clips to secure the hair. If hair is medium or long length, please use a hair tie to secure in a small ponytail and or ballet bun with the use of bobby pins, hair pins, clips, and a hair net. Simple hair accessories may be worn. Please see video for explanation:

Boys: Please have hair off the face. If hair is short, please have hair sprayed and off the face. If hair is medium or long in length, please have it secured in a ponytail or a simple headband.
