Javier Bustos

Hip Hop

Born and raised in Madrid, Spain, Javier Garcia Bustos “Javiolo” is a skilled dancer and choreographer with years of experience spanning around the globe. He fell in love with dance at the young age of 3 in an after school dance/flamenco program. At the age of 6 years old he won a scholarship and started attending jazz classes at Jumping Gym. From the ages of 12 - 17,  he attended Releve and Broadway dance studios iIn Madrid, Spain where he developed his ballet, jazz and hip hop dance technique and style, finding the art form beneficial to his coordination, memory, and overall health.

Serving as a professional dancer since the age of 8, Javiolo is proud to have danced, choreographed, and trained all around the world, having performed in major European cities such as in Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, and London, and in major U.S. cities including Los Angeles, New York City, and Boston. He has performed in dozens of music videos for up-and-coming artists, and in 2010, he was a backup dancer for RCA recording artist Ke$ha, following the release of her hit debut album, Animal. Javiolo’s vast dance experience has also taken him from the Broadway stage to the Top 10 finalists (out of 2,000 dancers) in the Spanish version of So You Think You Can Dance

Now having lived in Northeast Florida since 2017, Javiolo has discovered his calling in teaching hip-hop, ballet, jazz, modern, and contemporary dance to students of all ages and skill levels throughout Jacksonville, St. Augustine, and Ormond Beach. After many exciting life experiences and positive lessons learned through dance, Javiolo has found a true passion in entertaining people and taking them on a journey to a place where they can let go of their worries and enjoy the present moment through the fine art of movement.
